Ingested is an English death metal band from Manchester formed in 2006. The band has a large back catalog and since the release of their fifth album ''Where Only God May Tread'' (2020) Ingested has been on a creative journey and they have produced a new album almost every year – even through the COVID-19 pandemic. This has resulted in a great musical growth that only comes from constantly practicing, playing and writing. Ingested now announces a new studio album, ''The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams'', to be released on April 5 via Metal Blade Records.

The upcoming album is not only as innovative and brutal as the band's last record, 2022's ''Ashes Lie Still.'' one of the most technical death metal bands out there. The album's first single, "Paragon Of Purity," is already out, and the song seamlessly contrasts a balance of intense, dizzying riffs that explore both sides of the sonic spectrum; it is alternately reminiscent of bands such as Obituary and Morbid Angel.
