Insanely strong hip-hop duo hits Copenhagen
It will be an evening for the hip-hop history books when one of the world's greatest producers crosses paths with one of the most unique underground voices for a concert in Pumpehuset on 1 August.
The Alchemist is rightfully one of the world's most sought-after hip-hop producers. He is eternally relevant and is constantly involved in new projects - most recently together with Earl Sweatshirt on the album "Voir Dire". In the past he has produced Kendrick Lamar, Mobb Deep, Freddie Gibbs, Travis Scott, Nas, Lil Wayne and many, many more. Alchemist has also been the official tour DJ for Eminem and Action Bronson, and now Copenhagen gets the opportunity to experience the heavyweight up close. Yeah, maybe we'll even get to see Alchemist rap.
Boldy James from Detroit released his first album "My 1st Chemistry Set" in 2013, and it was produced in its entirety by Alchemist. The two met via Boldy's cousin Chucky English, and together, in addition to Boldy's debut, they have made "The Price of Tea in China" and "Bo Jackson". The latter two are both modern hipohp classics. It is rumored that Boldy James is on the verge of releasing the record "Drug Dilla" with beats from the late J. Dilla.
Live, the duo is a phenomenal experience and the oven is set for a more or less legendary evening in Pumpehuset.
