Dear ravers, dancers, beautiful people, friends and family
We know a lot of you have been asking when we will do an event again, and here we are, finally! Back with a special one for you as a part of Distortion, an event that will unite us with great music, impressive light productions and electric atmosphere. This is an event in the name of community, love and Pleasure Control-spirit we have missed. This event is just as much for you as it is for us, and we can't wait to share new experiences in one space again!
We will transform the mainfloor of the concert hall in Pumpehuset and create a unique rave experience with our installation "BARRIERA" along with a light beam grid in the sealing. And we have secured a strong a lineup that includes two first-timers in Copenhagen.
Sedef Adasi (Hamam Nights / Panorama Bar, DE)
She recently officially became a resident at Berghain / Panorama Bar, Berlin.
In her sessions, she elegantly bounces in between euphoric Techno, ruff House classics, space Disco and tough electro with elegance and ease. With HAMAM Nights, a monthly club night taking place at City club in Augsburg, she has fostered a welcoming home for the likes of DJ Stingray, Tama Sumo, Boris or Perel, thereby taking the nightlifes’ choices of the city to a whole new level.
DJ Mell G (Juicy Gang, DE)
DJ MELL G is one of the most remarkable talents to breakthrough in recent years. The DJ, producer and Juicy Gang Records boss is grafting her way to a long-lasting career in electronic music. DJ MELL G grew up in Hamburg and started DJing at DIY parties in Frankfurt and Marburg. In 2020, she regularly played on HÖR Radio, and today, she continues to reach a global audience on the airwaves with her fierce sound and nimble mixing. International bookings at MELT Festival, K41, fabric, OXI, Up To Date Festival and PAL continue to shape her schedule.
Anders Dahl (KUNE)
He has been on the scene for years as a producer, DJ, and as an organizer of the KUNE parties some years back to now being an integral part of KUNE Festival. Anders knows the DJ-craft to the bone, a true record digger with a selection of high quality, constantly melting a flurry of smooth sounds together in his sets.
Harrison Heat (Pleasure Control resident)
Our resident DJ. He has been in the game for years now, and most of you know what to expect: silky smooth track selections, a stream of records and bouncy beats!
LIGHT INSTALLATION: 'BARRIERA"
With the installation, we challenge the boundaries between stage lighting and contemporary digital art by conceptualizing the word "Frigjort/"Liberated". The installation contains both new and old visual design for the projections and stronger layering of dynamic movement through an increased number of lasers, solidified in the air by smoke. We combine this with mapping and blending between two- and three-dimensional space.
