A creative space · A new beginning · An empty canvas just waiting to be painted…
Liminal Spaces began as a series of conversations between the founders.
What started as an ongoing exchange of experiences, ideas, visions and hopes for the electronic music scene eventually evolved to the wish of co-creating a new space for electronics music. With deep roots in the night scene of Copenhagen and Tokyo, the founders finally found a home in Pumpehuset for the concept, which will act as the canvas for a series of events, focusing on high quality electronic music, lights and visuals.
To draw the first strokes Liminal Spaces invites Japanese artists Hito, Drunken Kong and SUDO. As Richie Hawtin’s left hand on his Ibiza succes .ENTER, Hito quickly gained a following due to her sophisticated choice in techno music accompanied by her unique mixing style. At Pumpehuset she will be joined respectively by Drunken Kong and SUDO, the latter who will play an exclusive live set. With releases on Dubfire’s ‘SCI+TEC’ label and Monika Kruses ‘Terminal M’ both Drunken Kong and SUDO has positioned themselves as frequent suppliers of dark minimalistic techno to worlds DJ elite.
Join us on this new adventure and let us fill out the canvas together!

We build our nights based on informal invitations extended to our artists.
An invitation to showcase themselves and their art – freely and as they see fit.
We therefore also favor long performances over long line up’s.
We strive to place live elements of electronic music at the center of each event
to which we add lights, visuals and decorations to change the surroundings
from time to time.
