Raised in the Dominican Republic and Italy, YENDRY has 90s pop and R&B, traditional Latin music and electronic music in his mother's milk. It shines through beautifully in her great passion for melodies and harmonies, which flows into music where her roots are celebrated by mixing Latin percussions with European electronic elements. She skilfully integrates elements from Dominican and Italian culture into her music, and her lyrics reflect a personal journey and the challenges she has encountered along the way. Her music also contains strong elements of feminism and empowerment.

YENDRY released the single 'Nena' in 2020 before she really got her breakthrough in 2021 after collaborating with J. Balvin, Damian Marley, Mozart La Para and Emotional Oranges. YouTube chose YENDRY to perform alongside some of her greatest
inspirations, R&B icon Mary J. Blige and Jazmine Sullivan at the iconic Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY as part of their 'ad week'.

Just before the year ended, her single "YA" was named one of Barack Obama's top songs of 2021. In 2023, YENDRY has released two new singles: "Herrera" and "La Puerta", and will release her third single in 2023, " La Bendicion" in November, before her upcoming album is released in 2024.
