Udgårdsfest is ready with the first names for the program and ticket sales have started

UDGÅRDSFEST 2023 was a mega success. Heidevolk topped the list of names and ensured, together with the remaining 6 bands on the poster, an adventurous pagan metal party in Pumpehuset. A party that for the second year in a row could report being sold out before the show started.

After just 4 years, UDGÅRDSFEST has become a firm tradition for all fans of folk, pagan and viking metal! This is where you can experience the names within the genre that would otherwise normally bypass Denmark and the only reason why this is possible is because of the enormous support and dedication that the audience gives us year after year.

Nu er programmet for UDGÅRDSFEST 2024 klar og bliver atter med et stjernespækket program, der viser den store musikalske alsidighed vi finder på folk metalscenen. Fra internationale first timers on the Danish scene and the most hyped Danish names of the time.

Booker, Søren Weiss, states:

In 2024, Udgårdsfest will open the gates to Alfheim - the elf kingdom - at UDGÅRDSFEST, which will be held on Saturday 28 September 2024 in Pumpehuset.

ELVENKING

Before long, Elvenking will come to Denmark. The Italians' melodic pagan power metal is made for an adventurous party at OUTDOOR PARTY. With the 2014 album "The Pagan Manifesto", Elvenking underlined that the band is in the top league of the pagan metal scene, with tracks such as "Elvenlegions" and "Pagan Revolution", both of which have streaming numbers of several million. With their latest two albums "Reader of the Runes - Divination" from 2019 and the fantastic "Reader of the Runes - Rapture" from 2023, the band has only strengthened their position as a fantastic live name on the pagan metal scene. Now the Danish fans finally have to experience them on Danish soil!

SKYFORGER

A style maker. A folk metal legend. Skyforger's importance to folk metal cannot be underestimated. The band from Riga is finally coming to Denmark. Since 1995, Skyforger has enriched us with Latvian pagan metal, drawing traces in everything from black metal to traditional heavy metal. It is not without reason that the band has played Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, Sweden Rock Festival, Party.San Open Air, Summer Breeze, Metaldays, Brutal Assault and many more of the big festivals. Now the time has finally come for them to visit Denmark and OUTDOOR FESTIVAL!

TROLD

The hype is great – and with good reason! Trold has in record time secured a large following here at home with their terrific festive concerts. Since they last played OUTGÅRDSFEST, the band has released their debut - the critically acclaimed "Der Var Engang...". A cheerful and festive album, but which also shows that the troll - behind their jokes and pranks - can actually find out how to write strong songs, with both razor-sharp memorable melodies and hooks. Just listen to a new classic like "Sensommerbålet" and "Night of the Trolls". An evening with Troll in the house is always a party

ÆTTIR

Darkness and melancholy descend over this year's UDGÅRDSFEST when Ættir plays with us for the first time. The band's icy Nordic-inspired doom, with Nanna Barslev's eternally beautiful vocals at the forefront, is a mesmerizing experience for anyone who surrenders to their darkened and epic universe. Ready for goosebumps!

SYLVATICA

A classic on the epic metal scene here at home! Sylvatica finally returns to OUTDOOR PARTY. The last time was at the first edition in 2019. With their new album "Cadaver Synod" from 2023, the band is almost self-written and we look forward to being seduced by epic metal from Sylle!

PAFUND

In 2024, UDGÅRDSFEST opens with something as magical as a round of medieval dungeon synth. With roots in black metal, the solo project Pafund is both an interesting and unique encounter on the Danish music scene. Expect a dark, cool and enchanting melodic soundscape when Pafund opens OUTDOOR PARTY 2024.
