Trophy Eyes
Support: Split Chain

The Australian punk rock band Trophy Eyes will play at Pumpehuset on Thursday 3 October 2024. They will bring Split Chain as support.

Trophy Eyes is an Australian punk rock band consisting of John Floreani (vocals), Jeremy Winchester (bass and vocals), Blake Caruso (drums) and Josh Campiao (guitar).

Trophy Eyes broke through with their debut album "Mend, Move On" in 2014, which was praised for its honesty and energy. After this, the band began touring internationally and building a dedicated fan base. Their subsequent releases, including 2016's "Chemical Miracle" and 2018's "The American Dream," cemented their position as a significant voice in modern punk rock.

In 2023, Trophy Eyes released their latest album, "Suicide and Sunshine". Musically, "Suicide and Sunshine" is a fusion of aggressive punk rock elements with melodic and experimental touches. The album balances between intense, energetic tracks and more introspective and emotional songs that reflect the dual nature that the album title suggests - a mixture of struggle and hope. Lyrically, the album tackles topics such as mental health, life's ups and downs, and the personal struggles the band members have faced. It's a continuation of the honest and reflective style that Trophy Eyes is known for, but with a maturity that shows how far they've come as artists.
