Get ready to sing along to hits like 'Elskovpony', 'Drømmer Jeg' and 'Drenge Som Mig' when Johnny Deluxe takes over Pumpehuset for an extra concert on 24 May 2024

In the 00s, Johnny Deluxe was the soundtrack for a whole generation of young party-loving Danes, and many of their biggest hits have achieved the status of evergreens. Even in 2023, it is difficult to avoid hits like "Elskovspony", "Drømmer Jeg" and "Drenge Som Mig" in Danish living rooms and in nightclubs around the country.

It has now been 20 years since the popular band released the self-titled debut album 'Johnny Deluxe' in 2004. Now the band is ready to pay tribute to the album and the very special era when they visit Pumpehuset on 12 April 2024.

Johnny Deluxe had their breakthrough in 2003 with the single 'Elskovspony' as part of the Karrierekanonen, which the band ended up winning. 'Eskovspony' later ended up being a huge hit and got a place in rotation on P3. Later that year, the band released the self-financed music video for the song, which was voted into DR's iconic 'Boogielist' first place. In 2004, Johnny Deluxe released the self-titled debut album 'Johnny Deluxe' (4x platinum), the album contained several of the band's most iconic songs. On the debut album you will find songs like 'Elskovspony'. 'Drømmer Jeg' and 'We Want More''. The following year, the band followed up the debut album with the album 'Luxus', which also went platinum - where the song 'Drenge Som Mig' was to be found.

At the concert, you can look forward to singing along to classics from the band's debut album and back catalogue. About the concert, the band states: “It's absolutely fantastic that our songs are still alive out there in 20 years, it must be celebrated with a bang of a show! We give Elskovspony, Drømmer Jeg and all the others a Deluxe overhaul and present our best show ever. We look forward to celebrating our 20th anniversary with you!”.
