This summer he released his first EP in over 10 years, and "Not As I", as the EP is called, has been described as a more intimate and quiet part of the sound universe that the musician moves in, in an attempt to to create music that moves in the space between the club and the home. "I love the album format but I've missed being able to make smaller excursions like this into ideas and sounds. I wanted to regain a sense of immediacy in my work and it was so refreshing putting this together in the quiet, dark months at the end of last year," he says of the EP.
