Kanonenfieber is a German black metal band from Bamberg founded in 2020. The band's leader and its only member is a musician with the stage name ''Noise". For live concerts he is accompanied by guest musicians, where he only focuses on singing. In the studio however, he records all the instruments himself. 

The starting point for Kanonenfieber was an exchange between Noise and his historian friend about writing an album about the First World War based on letters and original documents from the period. Noise was particularly motivated to form the band after reading his late great-grandfather's diary, which he wrote on the front lines during the First World War. 

The music is characterized by a dark, aggressive sound typical of the genre, while incorporating melodic elements and epic compositions that add depth to the soundscape.

Kanonenfieber released the first album, “Menschenmühle”, in 2021. Since then, the band has played several very successful tours and their extensive, dramatic live shows have shaken the audience and left them speechless at renowned festivals such as Summer Breeze, Party.San or Dong Open Air.

Noise and his live band, are deliberately kept anonymous, which serves as a reference to "The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier". These are monuments in various countries around the world that commemorate soldiers killed in wars.
