Cited on numerous occasions by the likes of both Kerrang & Metal Hammer Magazines as 'The Best Live act in Britain" Ragga Metal custodians Skindred kick off their campaign for their greatly anticipated new album Kill the Power on Double Cross (UK)/Napalm Records(GSA) this November with an extensive European Tour that brings them to Pumpehuset.
With the first single due to hit the streets to coincide with the tour, SKINDRED frontman Benji Webbe comments: “KILL THE POWER IS OUR 5TH STUDIO ALBUM. KILL THE POWER IS FOR ALL THEM THAT ARE SICK OF BEING THE UNDERDOG, AND WANNA STEP UP AND DESTROY ALL THOSE WHO OPPRESS AND HOLD THEM DOWN! USE THIS ALBUM AS A BACKDROP TO OVERCOME AND TAKE YOUR LIFE BACK! WE AIN'T FIGHTING THE POWER NO MORE, WE ARE DEFINITELY KILLING IT!!!”
Skindred are also excited to be able to announce that they will be joined by two of the most exciting new International live acts of the moment.
Firstly Skindred will be joined by Japanese Metalcore band Crossfaith fresh off touring with the likes of Enter Shikari and Bring me the Horizon Crossfaith will release their new album 'Apocalyze' on Search and Destroy Records.
Also joining this exceptional three band bill is none other than LA gypsy punk/metal act Viza who were last seen supporting Serj Tankian on his last European tour . The band whose lineup includes an Oud player recently were cited as one of the best received acts at Metal Hammers most recent Hammerfest Festival .
