PUMPEHUSET and United Stage presents
APHACA

Their impact is like a brilliant yellow dandelion growing up through the asphalt. The band APHACA is ready to take over the Pump House as part of their autumn tour

APHACA has been simmering in the Danish underground with releases such as the triple-single, 'Flora Flora', the 2022 album, 'ET AAR UDEN DIG' and most recently APHACA released their first EP 'Mig Og Min Mund' which has already been met with enormous praise.

Rumle, Bertram, Bertil and Noah met at Det Frie Gymnasium in Nørrebro in Copenhagen. The democratic and creative DNA of the alternative school propagated itself and took root in the four friends, who above all had music in common – music that wanted and needed to be released.

Like a dandelion through asphalt, inspired by the Latin name of the yellow plant and the Det Fris logo, APHACA came into existence. Their sound is immediate, nostalgic and timeless, but right here and now, grounded in a natural curiosity for the individual instrument. The lyrics are as direct as they are figurative, and pull on the nerves of youth, whether you are a flower or a dandelion child.

Lead singer Rumle from APHACA gives an insight into what we can expect from APHACA in 2024:
"In the past six months, we have really been confirmed that what we do together in the studio, on stage and as friends is exactly the right thing. We have a lot of new music and energy to show you all in the coming years. We will start at Loppen and at the SPOT Festival in 2024 and look forward to being with everyone who joins in!”
