In 2025, the prince of horror punk, Wednesday 13, will return to Denmark with a very special concert at Pumpehuset.

Wednesday 13 (Joseph Poole) has been a central figure in the horror rock genre since the 90s – first with Maniac Spider Trash and Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13, and later with Murderdolls and a long solo career. He is known for his theatrical style, dark humor and love of horror films, which permeate both his music and stage show. On the tour he pays tribute to the legendary band Murderdolls, who shook the rock scene in the early 00s with their macabre energy and punk attitude.

Murderdolls took the scene by storm in the early 00s with their boundary-pushing mix of horror-punk, glam metal and pure attitude. Their debut album ‘Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls’ was like a loving fist bump to the music scene, filled with laughs, film references and catchy hooks. In 2010, the band returned with ‘Women and Children Last’, which brought a heavier and more metal-oriented sound – and now both albums are being revived live in a tribute to the band’s legacy.

Fans can look forward to songs from their debut album ‘Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls’ and their comeback ‘Women and Children Last’ – two albums bursting with horror, sarcasm and raw rock’n’roll. Wednesday 13 and his band – which includes former Murderdolls members Roman Surman and Jack Tankersley – bring the dark and festive spirit of Murderdolls to life with an intense, theatrical and deeply entertaining concert. With costumes, visuals and an atmosphere that feels like it’s straight out of a horror movie, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss.
