One of the hottest UK rap names of all time, Sainté, takes over Pumpehuset on 17 November
Since releasing his debut single “Envy Me” in 2019, Sainté has established himself as one of the biggest new names on the English rap scene, despite not having roots in the country's hip-hop epicenter London. He comes from Leicester, which is mostly known for its football team and its multi-ethnic population. But as he himself has stated: "I enjoy being the wild card".
Musically, Sainté draws inspiration from e.g. west coast hip-hop, jazz, R&B and genre-defining rappers like Pharrell Williams, Drake and Freddie Gibbs; a smooth musical blend that has made him one of the most popular artists among the new generation of UK rappers.
Sainté is a born performer who gives everything on stage. He has toured in the UK, Europe, New Zealand and Australia and toured with slowthai. In 2023, he gave an intense and completely sold-out concert in Copenhagen. Now more Danes will have the opportunity to experience the English rap phenomenon when he gives his biggest Danish headline concert so far in Pumpehuset on 17 November.
