Formed in 1989 in Isla Vista, California, the band quickly became known for their humorous approach to the rock genre and their unique blend of hard rock, metal and alternative sounds. With hits like ‘Everything About You’ and ‘Cats in the Cradle’, they became one of the most defining bands of the 90s.

Ugly Kid Joe has released several platinum-certified albums, including the iconic 'As Ugly as They Wanna Be' (1991) and 'America's Least Wanted' (1992), both of which have had a major impact on the rock scene.

After the band's breakup in 1997, they reunited in 2010 and have been active ever since. In 2015, they released 'Uglier Than They Used to Be', their first album in almost 19 years, and in 2022, they followed up with 'Rad Wings of Destiny', marking their first album in seven years.
