Dutch house transforms Pumpehuset into a huge spring party
Tinlicker is a Dutch electronic music act, formed in 2013, and consists of Jordi van Achthoven and Micha Heyboer. The duo is known for their unique sound that fuses elements of trance, house and progressive music. They have gained international recognition for their innovative productions and unforgettable live performances.
The duo has once again made waves in the electronic music scene with their latest single, "Starchaser," released in August 2023. "Starchaser" is yet another example of Tinlicker's ability to deliver music that moves and touches listeners in a unique way. With its bold combination of enchanting melodies, hypnotic beats and soulful synth arrangements, Tinlicker takes us on a magnificent musical journey.

Med sammenligninger til Sigur Rós og Explosions In The Sky fik Tusks støtte fra BBC 6 Musics Lauren Laverne, BBC Radio 1s Annie Mac og Huw Stephens, Rolling Stone, Billboard, Mixmag, MOJO og Wonderland med udgivelsen af hendes debutalbum 'Dissolve' i 2017, produceret sammen med Brett Cox (Jack Garratt, Alt J, Marika Hackman).
Hendes andet album 'Avalanche' førte Tusks længere ind i grunge- og shoegaze-verdenen. Med inspiration fra My Bloody Valentine, Marika Hackman og Wolf Alice fik albummet hendes støtte fra et stadigt voksende publikum over hele verden, såvel som synkronisering på hitshows som Netflix's '13 Reasons Why'.
Efter tidligere at have støttet Khurangbin, Ásgeir, Bear's Den og Submotion Orchestra, begyndte Tusks sin første europæiske og britiske turné i starten af 2020, inklusive nætter i Londons prestigefyldte Village Underground (som hun indspillede og udgav som et livealbum) og Berlins Berghain Panorama bar.
I 2021 samarbejdede hun med CJ Mirra om soundtracket til spillefilmen 'A Banquet' og er vendt tilbage til at skrive og indspille ny musik, der er planlagt til at blive udgivet snart.
