Thee Sacred Souls was formed in 2019 by Alex Garcia (drums), Sal Samano (bass) and Josh Lane (vocals) in San Diego. The band pays tribute to the authentic soul sound of the past and has already won great recognition for their talented musical abilities and approach to the genre. By fusing soul, r'n'b and gospel together, they manage to capture listeners and transport them back to an era where music was driven by passion and emotion.

The band landed their first record deal with record label Daptone. Their first singles "Will I See You Again" and "Can I Call You Rose?" amassed more than ten million streams in a year and garnered attention from Billboard, Rolling Stone and KCRW. Artists such as Gary Clark Jr., The Black Pumas, Princess Nokia and Timbaland have also expressed their appreciation for Thee Sacred Souls' music.
