The Scratch is a band that doesn’t seem to fit in anywhere, yet has proven they fit in everywhere. They started with just acoustic guitars and a cajón back in 2016, immediately drawing attention in their hometown of Dublin, and released their debut EP ’Old Songs’ in 2018.

Apparently unable to stay within a single genre, they consciously move around heavy metal, Irish folk, stadium rock, and post-punk. They are constantly evolving both creatively and sonically, never taking themselves too seriously as individuals, but always putting their souls into the music.

They have won the hearts of everyone who has experienced their live shows, which have attracted a cult-like following in Ireland, the UK, and most recently in mainland Europe and North America.
