The Norwegian folk/pop band, Kalandra, will play in Pumpehuset on 14 October 2024. They will bring the Italian multi-instrumentalist Lili Refrain as a special guest.
Kalandra is firmly rooted in melancholic Nordic folk-pop, interwoven with divine melodies and raw guitar playing. They are known, among other things, for their cover of Wardruna's "Hell", which has hit more than 5 million views on YouTube, as well as for having composed two songs for HBO Nordic's series "Beforeigners". In 2021, the Norwegian group followed up by making the track for the game "Kingdom Two Crowns: Norse Lands" and toured Europe with the Norwegian prog band Leprous the following year.
Building on their great momentum, Kalandra embarked on a co-headlining tour with A.A. Williams in late 2023 and released the song "Bardaginn" along with an epic music video. Most recently they released the single "The State of the World" which sees the band explore a fragile side of their sound and reach new fans worldwide. With two dynamic new songs out and more festival appearances in the summer of 2024, the four members are ready like never before to reach new heights.
Experience this at Pumpehuset on 14 October 2024, where they have Lili Refrain as special guest.
