On Sunday, August 24, Weekendavisen will move into Byhaven for a day and invite writers, guests and readers to think out loud together. They call it a late summer event and a soft start. An opportunity to slow down a bit and look up – before everyday life really begins again.
Throughout the day, they will open up for conversations, presentations and experimental formats, ranging from literary depictions of sex and the social side of the housing market to Middle Eastern identities, finances between friends and Jane Austen's timeless rules of conduct. We must let language stretch and ask: What does the world actually sound like when you sing it out?
The program is a curated eye for detail, nuance and reflection - a full day of conversations and formats that want to go further and deeper.
Further details of the program are added on an ongoing basis.
The event lasts from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and requires an admission ticket.
