Høvl Bookings is a DIY initiative where the nooks and crannies of Copenhagen's underground come together for equal parts pogo, dance and melancholy under the open sky in Byhaven!
With the word punk in its broadest sense as a guideline, we will bring the most interesting corners of Copenhagen's underground into the (day) light. Høvl Bookings is a celebration of the quirky, the completely black and the totally smashed. Artists who dare to go their own way and music for music's sake.
Høvl Bookings are anti-commercial, anti-fascist, sometimes anti-musical, with a guarantee of good gloomy atmosphere!

Jakobe
Jakobe are the standard-bearers for a new generation of Copenhagen punk. Riotgrrrl, punk, grunge etc. have been judged. but where the genre can be difficult to define, the message and attitude are quite clear - the young band members are not just carrying on traditions, they are a much-needed loos, with a focus on creating space for young people, women and minorities on stage! The much talked about group is current with the new single 'Cavities' ahead of the debut album which is on the way
Loose Ends
Siden 2017 har aarhusianske Loose Ends udviklet sig fra shoegazet garage-jangle over aggressiv post-punk til konfrontatorisk støjrock. Den evolution blev tydelig på EP’en ‘Yearning for Something Else’ (2022) og siden på debutalbummet ‘A Blatant Reaction’ (2023). Senest har kvintetten åbnet et nyt kapitel med sange, der er influeret af tidlig emo, 90’er post-hardcore og 00’ernes skramz. Loose Ends er ved at lægge sidste hånd deres kommende andet album, hvor længere og mere ekstreme kompositioner er i førerpositionen.

Kasper (St. Digue, Hævner) og Suo Fei (Pleaser, Konvent) spiller både ny og gammel rock, punk etc. før og mellem koncerterne.
