GLØD was founded in the spring of 2022 by Simone Breum Herlev and Louise Holst with a mission to create an inclusive, sustainable, and engaging platform for emerging music and creative collaborations. Based on the border between Nørrebro and Nordvest, they work to present new artists in a safe and professional environment, where the audience has the opportunity to discover music that rarely finds space on established stages.

H2o Slutclub is a music and performance collective that fuses club culture, theatre, and feminist satire. They work at the intersection of electronic house and performing arts – dressed in borrowed corporate feathers, they transform performance pressure into community, competition into care, and capital into love, with rest as their most radical strategy against the patriarchy.

Live, they create a theatrical house show with scenography borrowed directly from the office environment: desks, office chairs, whiteboards, and a monumental foam telephone. On stage, a team of agile, suit-clad people and creatures perform choreographed dance steps, singing, and gestures inspired by the weary body and language codes of the business world.

H2o Slutclub is a fluid crew of women+ and non-binary performers who open the stage for a playful, experimental, and inclusive space – for both performers and audience. The pace can be fast, but presence and community are the real values!

Behind Saltmother is composer and singer Amanda Appel, who since 2020 has been active on the Danish experimental scene as part of the vocal group ilinx. In 2022, she released her solo EP ’Heavy In Baby Blue’ and is now working on her debut album, expected in 2026.

A Saltmother concert is a tour through music history, tied together by Amanda Appel’s dramatic vocals and presence. It is an intense, emotional, grand, quiet, noisy, and fun concert experience, with eclectic musical elements ranging from medieval ballads, grunge rock, to synthpop. There are murder ballads from the perspective of the Virgin Mary, as well as songs about being a little too old to pee on the street while drunk. In this way, Saltmother becomes both a soaring mystic and a hyper-concrete rock songwriter.
