Byhaven: Carrie's Going to prom: Class of 2025

On August 29th, there will be free admission when the activist nonprofit event group Carrie’s Going Out moves into Byhaven and invites you to a real prom. You and your loved ones are invited and we will celebrate community and each other.
We open at 3:00 PM, Yeerro serves delicious gyros from 5:00 PM and the bar is of course also full of the usual delicious Brooklyn beers, natural wines and cocktails.

We will sing Carrieoke, dance to Vild Smith, drink cold polar bears and filur on the occasion of the day and immortalize the evening with a photobooth. Come exactly as you are, or in your dream prom outfit.

Vild Smith

Carrie's Going Out
Carrie’s Going Out is a self-organized, activist event and cultural platform that works cross-aesthetically and anti-capitalist for a more inclusive, caring and sustainable future for the music and culture industry. Their work is interdisciplinary, based on collaboration and community. Their mission is to leave a mark on the culture and society around us and inspire even more young initiatives and collaborations. They believe that art and culture create change. A change that we can all use to level out hierarchical structures and isolating, excluding and oppressive systems in society.

The hope for Carrie's Going Out is that guests leave with new energy and a willingness to go, which can be introverted, extroverted, or something completely different.
