Bag kunstnernavnet GOLDIE står den talentfulde 27-årige sanger og musiker Glodie Topenya. Hendes musikalske rejse begyndte i et lokalt kirkekor i hjembyen Skanderborg, hvor passionen for musikken for alvor fik plads til at spire.
