19-year-old Odense-based singersongwriter Augusta Schackinger writes lyrics that strive for more than just depicting the ups and downs of life. For her, it's about creating images with words – images that reach across generations and tell of places and experiences that exist both in and outside the physical world. With her characteristic mix of dreamy pop and lyrical melancholy, Augusta moves in a space between the real and the symbolic.

gubbi is a Danish-language folk project by Gustav Bejder Jensen, who is also the frontman and co-founder of the band Høker. gubbi writes present songs, where musical nerve and big themes are mixed with an intimate and quirky text universe and an organic sound that comes from gubbi's singer-songwriter roots and inspirations such as Elliot Smith, Alex G and Big Thief. Presence is gubbi's main focus, which is also seen in his live expression, where intimacy, immediacy and whimsy are in focus.

The start of gubbi is not the end of Høker, but a parallel project with its own ambitions.
