Since their beginnings in 2012, the band has slowly but surely transformed from aspiring dreamers into an enchanting force. With their dark aesthetic, adventurous storytelling, and gothic-tinged sound universe, Blackbriar has carved out a unique place on the international metal scene.

Their first major breakthrough came with the single “Until Eternity” in 2015 – a true fan favorite that really put them on the map. With subsequent releases like the EPs ‘Fractured Fairytales’ (2016) og ‘We’d Rather Burn’ (2018), they cemented their distinctive style, blending melodic beauty with a menacing darkness.

In 2020, the band showcased the strength of their dedicated fanbase by crowdfunding their debut album ‘The Cause of Shipwreck’ - an ethereal journey through mysticism and melancholy. In 2023, Blackbriar was further signed by the legendary label Nuclear Blast Records, where they most recently released the album ‘A Dark Euphony’, which received widespread acclaim from both fans and critics. The album is an echo of the band’s ongoing evolution, offering a dark and seductive blend of gothic rock, mythology, and fantasy.
