After the breakup of Every Time I Die in 2022, Buckley, Micciche and Holyoak decided to continue their musical journey together, and they quickly found a collaboration with Puciato, the charismatic vocalist of The Dillinger Escape Plan. Together with Putney, who not only plays guitar but also produces, they began to create a musical universe that would become Better Lovers.

In 2023, the band released their debut album ‘God Made Me An Animal’, which was met with great acclaim from both critics and fans. The album combines raw energy with depth and emotion, and demonstrates the band’s ability to create a sound that is both technically impressive and emotionally charged. In 2024, they followed up with the EP ‘Highly Irresponsible’. The EP consists of ten tracks and was produced by Will Putney, where the music moves in the tension field between hardcore, metal and chaotic melodic intensity – with sharp riffs, explosive energy and a constant sense of unpredictability.
