Benny The Butcher is a member of both the Griselda collective and the Black Soprano Family. Based in Buffalo, north of New York City, he has been delivering bulletproof releases since the early 2000s. Together with his cousins Conway The Machine and Westside Gunn, he has been responsible for some of the most uncompromising hip-hop of the new millennium, with hard, heavy beats and a stylish delivery that evokes memories of the genre's biggest stars.

Throughout his career, he has delivered acclaimed releases and collaborations with artists such as DJ Green Lantern, Black Thought, Pusha T and of course Conway The Machine and Westside Gunn. His series of albums such as Plugs I’ve Met and Tana Talk have garnered widespread acclaim, leading him to release Tana Talk 4 on the prestigious Def Jam Records last year. He recently went back to his roots and released the album Excelsior on his own through Black Soprano Family.

With his street-oriented rap style, Benny The Butcher has managed to create a universe that is so vivid and full of images that it is reminiscent of a Martin Scorsese mafia film.

Benny The Butcher announces that he is bringing his colleagues from the Black Soprano Family to Denmark. Don't expect it to be a family-friendly concert, though. On the contrary, it will be a tough, gripping and accomplished show when Benny The Butcher turns Pumpehuset into a slaughterhouse on August 7, 2025.
