Pop talent Alessi Rose, who tours with world stars such as Dua Lipa and Tate McRae, is ready to take over the international live stages on her own when she hits Pumpehuset on her The Voyeur Tour this fall.
Alessi Rose moves freely between different subgenres of pop and is in the process of shaping her own sound and style. She mixes the dreams and illusions of youth with the sometimes crushing, other times euphoric realities of adulthood. The young artist's natural understanding of the intersection between vivid imagination and honest vulnerability is a significant part of what has made her meteoric success on the modern pop scene inevitable.
Alessi has been sharing music online since she was 13, when she started posting cover songs on YouTube before TikTok really took off – and this is where her creative development really took off. Her intimate vocals and charming honesty quickly found an audience among a generation looking for a new type of artist: one who rests in their vulnerability and the recognisable in the specific.
The success of her covers gave her the courage to put out her own demos – songs that quickly attracted the attention of both British and American managers, record labels and BBC Introducing. Without having released a single song, she ended up as one of the 10 most played local artists of 2022.
According to Alessi herself, she has always had a tendency to overshare, as well as a deep love for writing that led her to study English Literature at King’s College London. When it came to writing lyrics, this healthy obsession became a strength. Accustomed to pouring her thoughts out on paper, she quickly became part of the same lyrical community as Phoebe Bridgers, Lorde, Olivia Rodrigo and MUNA – artists who use their lyrics to highlight the value of emotional intelligence.
With the releases of ‘say ur mine’, ‘hate this part’, the brand new single ’Same Mouth’, and her upcoming new EP Voyeur, due out this summer, Alessi Rose is emerging as pop music’s new hope, and an artist who dares to confront, comfort and celebrate – with her heart first. She has already received recognition from superstars Dua Lipa and Tate McRae as support on their tours, and in 2025 she will embark on her own headlining tour with her new EP. Look forward to experiencing Alessi Rose live at Pumpehuset
