Koncerten med Half Moon Run er flyttet til den 2. oktober 2023.

The trio Half Moon Run from Montreal is finally returning to Denmark, after the last time they visited Store VEGA in February 2020 to great praise from Bands of Tomorrow, who signed off with 5/5 stars and the words: "Half Moon Run is undeniably a live band in a special class . There are far between concerts where the balance between musical perfection, nerve, presence and humility is as perfectly coordinated as what I witnessed on stage in Store VEGA".

The group will visit several European cities this fall and the news coincides with the release of the track "Fatal Line", which is the trio's contribution to the upcoming concept album 1969, which pays tribute to the folk wave of the 60s. Half Moon Run, whose latest studio album A Blemish in the Great Light landed at number 3 on the Canadian album chart, has over 10 years built a reputation as one of Canada's finest indie bands.

With acts like Arcade Fire and Grimes, the music world's focus has long been oriented towards Montreal's vibrant DIY scene, and that attention only intensified when Conner Molander, Dylan Phillips and Devon Portielje released the critically acclaimed debut album Dark Eyes back in 2012 with highlights such as "Full Circle” and “Call Me in the Afternoon”. The album rocketed to the top of the US alternative charts and earned them a deal with leading Glassnote Records and Mumford & Sons' Ben Lovett's label Communion in the UK. The sequels Sun Leads Me On from 2019 and most recently A Blemish in the Great Light saw the group constantly explore new areas in the tension between folk, art rock and indie pop, always with their recognizable, harmonious signature sound as a common denominator.

Live, Half Moon Run is in a league of its own. The three multi-talents continuously switch instruments on stage while their voices flow in and out of each other in chill-inducing harmonies. After 10 years, three albums, hundreds of concerts and last year's EP Inwards & Onwards, Half Moon Run are still at the top of their game, and the audience will feel it when they enter Pumpehuset on October 2, 2023.
